Bishop Dr. Brian Sutton has served as General Presbyter for North America Church of God of Prophecy since 2022. He and his wife Renee have over 25 years of experience in various church roles, including pastor, State Bishop of Alabama, and Executive Director of Leadership Development and Discipleship for the global church.

Bishop Sutton is passionate about walking daily with Jesus and helping others discover the blessings of conversational prayer.

He holds degrees from Covenant College, Pentecostal Theological Seminary, and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, where he earned a Doctor of Ministry in Global Pentecostalism. In 2018, he was honored as Alumnus of the Year by the Pentecostal Theological Seminary.

Bishop Sutton has written numerous pastoral resources, including the Minister’s Pocket Manual, Conversation with God, Practice These Things, and Discovering Holiness. He co-authored Membership Matters and Join the Journey and contributed to the Minister’s Development Program.

Brian and Renee cherish their family, including their children, their spouses, and three beautiful granddaughters.

  Brittany Gordon serves as the Executive Assistant to the North America General Presbyter of the Church of God of Prophecy. She helps assist a team of 26 state and regional bishops that are connected to more than 1700 local congregations throughout the United States, Canada, and Bermuda.

Brittany is originally from Long Island, New York. She moved to Memphis, TN in 2006 with her Dad, Mom, and two younger brothers. Saved and filled at the age of 6 at a Church of God of Prophecy Children’s Assembly, Brittany has been an active member of COGOP since she could remember. Brittany has previously served on the 2022 Assembly worship team, as camp and retreats worship leader, and at her home church, Abundant Grace Ministries, as the Youth Ministries Director and Youth Worship Leader.

Some of her many passions are exposing youth to the word of God in a relatable way, working with college & career groups to develop relationships, and leading people into the presence of the Lord through worship music. Brittany is most excited to see the impact this next generation will have on the Church of God of Prophecy as they begin to walk into their callings.
