Continuing Education Credits: 

Each licensed minister* in the Church of God of Prophecy  will be required to complete twenty (20) Continuing Education Credits (CECs) per year. Because we are still rolling this out, only twelve (12) CECs will be expected for 2025. The Continuing Education Guide (downloadable) describes how these credits may be obtained. Continuing education hours should not be confused with credit hours required in college or seminary courses. Earning the suggested number of credits should be manageable and enjoyable.

Numerous opportunities throughout the year will be provided to earn CECs. Examples are:

• Events sponsored by the International Offices, North American general presbyter’s office,  State Office,  and pre-approved district and local COGOP Leadership Training Events. 

• TN Marriage Retreat classes, TN Minister’s Intensive classes, Equip Training, Powerhouse classes, Crave classes, Ministerial Development Training Video classes and book studies are possible avenues for earning CECs, too.
